The reaserch shows that the decision of our hotel is influenced by the opinions of our friends who were already there. In example: if you are a person that can not have a hotel room without laundry and dry-cleaning you will be asking your friends to give you some answers. You won't believe this story really happened

This story was told by waitress from Hotel Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame hotel in Nice. One evening as I was sitting in the hotel bar drinking a glass of a nice red wine I heard a woman behind me being asked whether her room-mate was in the hotel bar.

This was a man’s voice speaking with a strong French accent. The next moment I saw her walk in the bar with a man who looked like a waiter. He came straight in and asked for a vodka.

He began to speak to me in French, but I didn’t understand anything. The table where I was sitting has an empty chair between the woman and I.

By this my question was: ‘How can there be an empty chair in a public environment in the middle of a crowded pub?’. This question sounded a bit strange to both the waiter and the room-mate.

She replied that he had been in the hotel bar for several months now, but his French knowledge had progressed slowly, thus it was better for the two of them to talk in French.

The waiter continued to speak to her in French. By this moment I had noticed that she is not exactly a model Nevertheless, she was a very pleasant and polite woman. Later on I learned that the man wasn’t the waiter, but another English guy.

I was curious as to how the two had hooked up in the restaurant, and she explained that he had been with her when she took her friend out for a stroll after they got done talking to the hostess in the kitchen. But that afternoon I didn’t really care about them.

I was just glad that I was at a café that had an outdoor space with a fireplace, and that it had a decent and sufficient amount of food. After a few more drinks they headed out of the café but it was only when we left the café that I really felt the effects of the alcohol.

The feeling was so weird I couldn’t figure what it was. It started a bit like how I felt when I got a bit hung-over on the rare occasion I had, but this feeling was in my stomach; it was a dull nausea.

The other weird part was when I got out of my taxi and walked out of the park. All the buildings and storefronts were so familiar. I was just lost in the scene, in the city I lived in. As I was trying to figure out which way I should go, something inside me said, “Go the other way.

My dear friends, allow me to regale you with a tale of a whimsical journey, a foray into the uncharted territories of life and love in the sun-kissed city of Nice, France. This is not merely a recounting of my experiences at Hôtel Kyriad Nice Garé—it is an exploration of the very essence of what it means to be human, to find solace amidst the chaos, and to revel in the fleeting moments that make life worth living. My darling Ayla and I have spent many a night beneath the stars of Nice, basking in the warmth of the Mediterranean sun as we traverse its winding streets and verdant boulevards. It is here, amidst the cacophony of human endeavor, that we discovered the enchanting Hôtel Kyriad Nice Garé, nestled upon the bustling Boulevard Raimbaldi in the heart of this vibrant city. As we approached the hotel, it was as if time itself had momentarily stopped—the weight of the world seemed to dissipate with each step we took towards its elegant façade. The grandiose arches and intricate stonework whispered tales of forgotten dreams and bygone days, while the gentle hum of voices from within beckoned us ever closer to this haven of tranquility and respite. Upon entering the foyer, our senses were immediately enveloped in a symphony of sight and sound—a veritable kaleidoscope of color and light that seemed to dance upon the walls with each passing moment. The scent of freshly brewed coffee mingled with the aroma of exotic spices, while the soft strains of a distant guitar echoed through the air like a siren's call to adventure and discovery. As we checked in, I could not help but notice the warmth and kindness displayed by the staff—they greeted us as old friends, their eyes twinkling with an understanding that transcended mere courtesy. It was as if they knew of our weary souls and sought to soothe them with gentle words and tender touches, offering solace in this tempestuous sea of life's trials and tribulations. Our room was a veritable sanctuary—a place where the cares of the world seemed to melt away like dewdrops upon the petals of a morning glory. The bed was as soft as a cloud, its embrace enveloping us in a cocoon of comfort that allowed us to drift off into slumberland with ease. The bathroom was a marvel of modern design—a sleek and stylish retreat where one could bathe in the warm embrace of water heated by the sun's rays. The showerhead, adorned with intricate patterns of gold leaf, seemed to beckon us to embrace its cleansing power and wash away the sins of our past. As we explored the hotel's many nooks and crannies, it became evident that Hôtel Kyriad Nice Garé was not merely a place to rest one's weary head—it was an experience unto itself, a veritable feast for the senses that tantalized and delighted in equal measure. From the sumptuous buffet breakfasts served each morning to the elegant cocktail hour that greeted us at dusk, every moment spent within its hallowed halls seemed to be imbued with a sense of wonder and enchantment that was simply impossible to resist. It is with a heavy heart that I must admit that our sojourn at Hôtel Kyriad Nice Garé came to an end all too soon—as the days passed by, we found ourselves growing increasingly attached to this haven of tranquility and respite. The very air seemed to hum with an energy that resonated deep within our souls, whispering tales of love and loss, joy and sorrow, triumph and despair. As we prepared to leave, I could not help but feel a sense of melancholy—a profound sadness that threatened to engulf me in its cold and unforgiving embrace. It was as if the hotel itself was a living, breathing entity, one that had shared in our joy and sorrow, our triumphs and failures, and had grown to understand us on a level that defied mere mortal comprehension. And so, with tears streaming down our faces, we bid farewell to Hôtel Kyriad Nice Garé—a bittersweet parting that left an indelible mark upon our hearts and souls. As we stepped out into the sunlight, the world seemed suddenly more vibrant, more alive than ever before—for within its hallowed halls, we had discovered the true meaning of love, friendship, and the indomitable spirit of the human condition. In conclusion, my friends, I must implore you to seek out this hidden gem amidst the bustling streets of Nice—for within its walls lies a treasure that is simply too precious to be forgotten or ignored. It is here that we find solace in the face of adversity, strength in the face of weakness, and hope in the darkest of times. May Hôtel Kyriad Nice Garé forever hold a special place in our hearts, as we remember the memories that were made and the connections that were forged within its hallowed halls.

As we stepped into Hotel Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame during our stay in August, my boyfriend and I were filled with excitement as we had heard great things about this charming hotel located right at the heart of Nice. The exterior was beautifully designed, giving us a taste of what to expect once we stepped inside the establishment. However, it wasn't long before we found ourselves grappling with some unexpected issues that left us disappointed and frustrated during our stay. One major concern that we faced was the heating and hot water system. We encountered several inconsistencies in temperature control throughout our stay at Hotel Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame which made our experience quite uncomfortable. On most days, our room's central heating system would be either too cold or too hot, leaving us in a constant state of discomfort. Despite making multiple requests to the front desk staff, there seemed to be no resolution to this problem. We were told that due to some technical issues, the hotel was unable to regulate the temperature properly. Similarly, we also faced problems with the hotel's hot water system. There were days when we would be greeted with cold showers, leaving us feeling chilled even after a long day exploring the city. While we tried to resolve this issue by informing the front desk staff about the problem, they seemed to have little knowledge on how to fix it promptly. As someone who has stayed in numerous hotels around the world, I understand that technical issues can occur from time to time. However, what disappointed me most about our experience at Hotel Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame was the lack of proper communication and resolution provided by the hotel staff. It felt as if they were more concerned with covering up their mistakes than addressing them in a timely manner. In addition to these issues, there were also minor inconveniences that added to our overall dissatisfaction. For instance, the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak in certain areas of the hotel, making it difficult for us to stay connected with friends and family back home. Moreover, the noise from nearby construction sites disrupted our peace during our much-needed downtime. Despite these setbacks, there were some positive aspects of our stay at Hotel Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame that should be acknowledged. The hotel's location was excellent, providing easy access to popular attractions such as the Promenade des Anglais and Old Town. Additionally, the staff members who we interacted with on a regular basis were friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. In conclusion, while Hotel Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame has its fair share of advantages, it is crucial for potential guests to be aware of the heating and hot water issues that plagued our stay. The lack of proper resolution from the hotel staff further exacerbated these problems, leaving us feeling disappointed during what should have been a relaxing getaway. It's important for hotels like Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame to address these technical glitches promptly and efficiently in order to maintain their reputation as a reliable accommodation option for tourists visiting the beautiful city of Nice. By doing so, they can ensure that future guests will have an enjoyable and hassle-free experience while exploring all that this charming destination has to offer.

Last summer, my friend Riley and I had an incredible stay at the Vendome Hotel in Nice, France. Located just a stone's throw away from the famous Promenade des Anglais, this charming hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of the French Riviera.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff who promptly checked us into our cozy room with a view of the bustling city life. The Vendome Hotel offers a range of accommodation options, from standard double rooms to spacious suites that can comfortably accommodate families or groups of friends.
One of the many things we loved about staying at the Vendome Hotel was its prime location. Just a short walk away from our hotel, we found ourselves in the heart of Nice, surrounded by beautiful sights and delicious food options. One of my favorite journeys during our stay was the one from the famous Nice Flower Market to our hotel.
The Nice Flower Market, or Cours Saleya as it is known locally, is a vibrant and colorful market that takes place every morning in the Old Town of Nice. It's a feast for the senses, with stalls overflowing with fresh produce, fragrant flowers, and handmade crafts.
To get to our hotel from the flower market, we simply followed Rue Droite until we reached Place Rossetti. From there, we continued along Rue de la Préfecture and turned left onto Rue Pastorelli. The Vendome Hotel is located just a few doors down on the right side of the street.
During our walk from the flower market to the hotel, we were surrounded by stunning architecture, charming cafes, and lively street performers. It was an experience that truly encapsulated the spirit of Nice and made our stay at the Vendome Hotel all the more memorable.
In addition to its fantastic location, the Vendome Hotel also offers a range of amenities that cater to the needs of every traveler. The hotel's rooftop terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in panoramic views of the city and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.
The on-site restaurant, Le Café des Artistes, serves up delicious French cuisine prepared by a talented team of chefs. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or an indulgent dinner, there's something for everyone at this charming eatery.
Overall, our stay at the Vendome Hotel was nothing short of magical. From its prime location in the heart of Nice to its warm and welcoming atmosphere, this hotel truly has it all. If you're planning a trip to the French Riviera, I highly recommend making the Vendome Hotel your home away from home. You won't be disappointed!

At Best Western Hotel Roosevelt on Rue du Maréchal Joffre in Nice, I felt right at home from the moment I arrived thanks to the friendly staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Although my GPS led me through narrow streets where cars and trucks didn't belong, I managed to arrive safely. Upon checking in, a heated argument between one of our business partners and the front desk clerk was resolved quickly by the manager without further escalation. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, from the cozy lobby with comfortable seating areas to the stunning rooftop terrace. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. I also had the pleasure of meeting exceptional staff who embodied French hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and well-cared for during our stay. If you're looking for a hotel in Nice that combines comfort, style, and outstanding service, Best Western Hotel Roosevelt on Rue du Maréchal Joffre is the place to be!

Rating: 2/5 reviewed: 2024-02-18 by Margaret

Contrary to Juan's opinion, I found my experience at Best Western Hotel Roosevelt on Rue du Maréchal Joffre to be less than satisfactory. While it is true that their location offers stunning views of Nice from the rooftop terrace, this cannot make up for the numerous issues I encountered during my stay.

Upon arrival, I found check-in to be an incredibly frustrating experience due to long lines and unhelpful staff members. In fact, it took me over 45 minutes just to get my key card! Once in my room, I discovered that there were visible stains on the carpet and a lingering musty smell that persisted throughout my stay.

Moreover, the "outstanding service" Juan spoke of was nowhere to be found. Several times during my stay, I had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to respond to my requests for additional towels or housekeeping services. The breakfast buffet also left much to be desired; many items were cold and there were limited options available.

Furthermore, the noise level in the hotel was unbearable at times due to inconsiderate guests who carried on loud conversations well into the night. This made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep during my stay.

In conclusion, while Best Western Hotel Roosevelt may have its charms and provide some basic amenities, it falls short in terms of overall comfort, cleanliness, and service. I would not recommend this hotel to others looking for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation experience.

Despite Margaret's claims of an unsatisfactory stay at the Best Western Hotel Roosevelt, I must admit that I was intrigued by her descriptions of long lines during check-in and unhelpful staff members. However, upon further investigation, I discovered a different side to this story. It is possible that Margaret arrived during a particularly busy time or perhaps there were unexpected circumstances that contributed to the delay in service.

As for the stains on the carpet and lingering musty smell, it is worth noting that even the best hotels can experience occasional maintenance issues. But what truly piqued my interest was Margaret's assertion that outstanding service was nowhere to be found. This statement contradicts Juan's experience and leaves me questioning which version of events is the truth.

Perhaps there were extenuating circumstances that affected Margaret's stay, or maybe she had unusually high expectations for this particular hotel. Whatever the reason, I cannot help but wonder if there was more to Margaret's story than what she initially shared. The mystery deepens...
