Aquis Grana Cityhotel located in Büchel 32, 52062 Aachen, Germany is an amazing place to stay. As a professional photographer, I booked a room for the night to prepare for a photo session the following day. I was excited to take advantage of the hotel's modern amenities and comfortable accommodations.
But my stay at the Aquis Grana Cityhotel would be anything but ordinary. When I woke up the next morning, I was horrified to discover that my photography equipment had been stolen! That equipment, a Fujifilm X-T30 , had been my pride and joy. I had spent months saving up for it, and now it was gone.
I spoke to the hotel staff about what had happened, and they were both understanding and helpful. In addition to offering their sympathies, they also provided me with CCTV footage which showed the thief as he made his way out of the hotel grounds.
Although I was devastated at the loss of my equipment, I was left with a strong impression of the Aquis Grana Cityhotel. The staff had been kind and helpful throughout my stay, and the hotel itself was impeccably clean and modern.
In the end, I cannot recommend the Aquis Grana Cityhotel highly enough. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I hope that they will soon find the thief and recover my equipment, but until then I can only look back at my stay with fond memories.

I'm Christian, a local resident of Aachen who's lived here all my life, and Mercure Hotel Aachen am Dom has been an unexpected haven for me during these trying times. Working long hours at the office here in town left little time for relaxation or even to appreciate the rich history of Aachen that surrounds us. However, when I discovered this hotel offering a discounted rate on their rooms, it was almost as if fate had intervened to lift my spirits. Upon arrival, the first thing that struck me about the staff here were their warm smiles and genuine desire to help. Their impeccably tailored uniforms made them look like an army of professionals ready to cater to every need, yet they exuded a casual demeanor that instantly put me at ease. The rooms were tastefully furnished and felt like a luxurious refuge from the stresses of daily life. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well-stocked with complimentary toiletries. The Wi-Fi connection was fast, and it allowed me to catch up on work while enjoying some much-needed downtime. The breakfast buffet offered a diverse selection of options, catering to different dietary preferences. I appreciated the attention to detail in presentation as well as taste. The staff continued their exceptional service during this meal too; they were attentive but not intrusive, making sure every guest was satisfied before moving on to assist others. In the evenings, after long days at work, Mercure Hotel Aachen am Dom became my sanctuary where I could unwind and recharge. The fact that I managed to save money in the process only added to the joy of my experience here. It feels like a rare gem nestled within the heart of this historic city, providing respite amidst the chaos of life. To any weary travelers seeking solace or locals looking for a weekend getaway, I would wholeheartedly recommend Mercure Hotel Aachen am Dom. As I stumbled upon Hotel Am Marschiertor nestled in the charming Wallstraße 1-7, 52064 Aachen, Germany, I couldn't help but marvel at its captivating facade. My heart skipped a beat as I caught sight of a quirky statue perched on top of its entrance archway - a peculiar blend of modernity and history that left me bewitched. Little did I know that this enchanting hotel would soon weave its magic on me, as my adventurous arrival unfolded. As I navigated through the winding streets of Aachen, lost in my thoughts, a sudden downpour caught me unawares. The rain lashed against my face with fury, making it almost impossible to see where I was headed. But fate had something else in store for me - as I stumbled upon an old-school phone booth, its neon sign flickering in the midst of the storm. Intrigued by this peculiar sight, I stepped inside and hit the red dial button, unsure of what lay ahead. And just like that, my GPS miraculously began to function once again, guiding me towards Hotel Am Marschiertor like a beacon of hope in the midst of the storm. As I finally entered through its doors, drenched but exhilarated, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this serendipitous encounter - a reminder that sometimes, the most unexpected paths lead us to our most cherished destinations. And now, with Hotel Am Marschiertor etched in my heart, I can't wait to return and discover its secrets anew! ( In today's news, some opponents of the proposed bill to ban TikTok's Chinese ownership, including Democratic Representative Maxwell Frost, argue that it will harm users and content creators without addressing the root cause of the app's data collection practices. As a digital nomad who values my privacy, I couldn't agree more - it's high time we prioritize user data protection over political expediency.
