In December I met a guy via the internet. I am not used to make contacts like this, but my college convinced me. After checking-in I refreshed myself and went down for a drink. Bartender offered me mojito and he was very nice. One thing after another and I realized that I am out of touch. In another words I was so used that I couldn't see the people. I was even afraid or embarrassed. I was thinking about my past so much that I couldn't understand a beautiful attractive guy. He came, sat next to me and took my hand.
He told me that he was a physician and I was his patient. I was surprised. Suddenly I felt the warmth on my back. He took me home. He made some conversation, some sex, and we spent all night together. My life was turning around. I had a lot of curiosity but I wasn't sure it was what I expected. We started making more friends and we kept in touch.
I was curious about sex and when I met an attractive guy he wanted to make the most of my desires. I was very happy because I felt that he knew me, he treated me like a kid and made me happy I began with him so many things and slowly he knew that I was an addict. Soon it became complicated and I took some pills. He started drinking alcohol and became more affectionate to me and told me to stop using.
I tried everything but didn't stop. In the end I needed to go to the hospital and it was a miracle that the family helped me to get some drugs and I started feeling better. After a few months he asked me to follow him and his family to their home. I did and I moved in with them, but I still needed drugs.
I am a drug addict, but if I didn't get them I would probably hurt myself.
I was living in an apartment with some other addicts. I had no job, I couldn't leave the house and I was taking drugs. One day they found a bag of drugs in that apartment. I did nothing because I knew I would be expelled from the family. Suddenly there were police and they arrested me with the drugs. I started to go to court and I was sentenced to three months in prison. The moment they locked me in I felt bad and told God they were the ones who I was with at the start of my problems.
And I cried the hardest in my whole life. And as soon as we walked out of the prison I said I don't want to live like this anymore. Since then I have done my best to get better and I have been working with a psychologist and I continue to try to get healthy every day.

As I reflect on my stay at The Washington Inn Hotel in Oakland, a bittersweet feeling washes over me. It's been many years since Sadie and I had our last trip there together. Back then, we were a young couple just starting out, excited to explore the world and create memories that would last us a lifetime.
The Washington Inn Hotel held a special place in our hearts because it was our first "adult" getaway without the kids. We could finally enjoy some time alone, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hotel itself was charming, with its old-fashioned elegance and attentive staff that catered to our every need.
As I recall, the location near 495 10th St was perfect; it allowed us to easily explore the city's rich history and culture. We spent countless hours strolling through nearby parks, visiting museums, and indulging in delicious local cuisine. And of course, we couldn't forget about the romantic nights we shared in our cozy room, gazing out at the city lights below.
Unfortunately, life has a way of getting in the way, and before we knew it, our trips to The Washington Inn Hotel became fewer and farther between. But even though time has passed and circumstances have changed, those memories still hold a special place in my heart. They remind me of a simpler time when all that mattered was being together with the one I loved most - Sadie.
So if you find yourself looking for a taste of nostalgia, I highly recommend staying at The Washington Inn Hotel in Oakland. Just don't forget to pack your love and cherish every moment you spend there, because memories like those are truly priceless.

Dear fellow Oakland dwellers,
Let me just say that my dear wife Angelina and I have been on the hunt for the perfect hotel in this bustling city for some time now. We're both proud residents of this fine metropolis, living and working here with a fierce love for our community. That being said, we know how important it is to find accommodations that truly capture the spirit of Oakland - and boy, have we found one in the form of the Oakland Marriott City Center. Located in the heart of downtown (just a stone's throw away from some of our favorite spots like Jack London Square and Lake Merritt), this hotel has become a go-to for visitors from all corners of Oakland. Why, you ask? Well, let me count the ways:
1) Top-notch amenities: From an on-site fitness center to a rooftop garden, the Oakland Marriott City Center has everything you need (and more!) to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. And let's not forget about that coveted Starbucks right in the lobby - talk about a lifesaver for us caffeine addicts!
2) Outstanding service: The staff here are truly some of the friendliest and most helpful people we've ever encountered. Whether you're checking in or just need a recommendation for a good place to grab lunch, they go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met (and then some). Prime location: As I mentioned earlier, this hotel is located in the heart of downtown - which means you're within walking distance of some of Oakland's most popular attractions. From the bustling shops and restaurants of Uptown to the vibrant arts scene of Temescal, there's no shortage of things to see and do right at your fingertips. But enough about what everyone else loves about this place - let me tell you about why Angelina and I have fallen head over heels for the Oakland Marriott City Center. For starters, it's just a stone's throw away from our favorite spot in town: the historic Fox Theater. Whether we're catching a show by one of our favorite local bands or just enjoying a night out on the town, this hotel is the perfect launching point for all of our Oakland adventures. Of course, there have been times when things haven't gone quite as smoothly - like that time last month when our room didn't have any hot water (talk about a cold shower!). But even then, the staff were quick to make it right and ensure that we had everything we needed to enjoy the rest of our stay. It's this kind of outstanding customer service that really sets the Oakland Marriott City Center apart from other hotels in town - and why we keep coming back for more!
Speaking of which, did you hear about the news today? Keysight Technologies is reportedly preparing a takeover bid worth £203m for Spirent Communications, with some investors questioning the fairness of Viavi's recent deal. It just goes to show that even in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of this city, there's always something new and exciting happening right here in Oakland. And we couldn't be prouder to call it our home!
In closing, I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Oakland Marriott City Center for all that they do - and for providing us with such a wonderful place to call home (at least temporarily) every time we stay here.

I can't help but feel a sense of melancholy. It's been weeks since I checked in with my secret lover, and we've spent countless hours exploring the city together. But tonight, as I survey the messy state of our room, I can't shake the disappointment that has settled over us like a thick fog. The dirty carpets, the stray hairs clinging to the walls - it's as if no one has bothered to clean this place in weeks. And yet, despite these shortcomings, we've come to rely on the top-notch service that Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center is known for. The staff are friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure our needs are met - even when the tech woes hit us hard. It started last night, when our TV suddenly refused to turn on. We called down to the front desk, expecting nothing more than a simple fix. But instead, we were met with a chorus of apologies and promises that they would do everything in their power to get things up and running again. And miraculously, by this morning, the tech issues had cleared up - thanks in no small part to the hardworking staff here at Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center. All of which makes me wonder: why can't they seem to keep their rooms as clean as they keep their tech? It's a mystery that has plagued us for days now, leaving us feeling more and more disappointed with each passing hour. And yet, despite the grime and the mess, we keep coming back - because at the end of the day, it's the service that really matters. In fact, I'd say that Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center has taught us a valuable lesson about persistence in the face of adversity. Just as they refused to give up on fixing our TV, we refuse to give up on this relationship - even when things get tough. And who knows? Maybe one day, this hotel will learn to prioritize cleanliness over all else. Until then, we'll continue to enjoy their top-notch service and put up with the dirt as best we can. Speaking of which, did you hear about the news today? It seems that there's a company out there called Brick by Brick Investments, and they're offering dividends at an impressive 6% yield. But investors have soured on the stock lately, thanks to its sliding share price. Some experts say it's a sign of underlying financial issues, while others say it's just part of a broader trend in the market. Whatever the case may be, we're keeping a close eye on this development - because at the end of the day, we believe that investing is all about staying informed and making smart decisions based on the facts. And with that, I bid you farewell for now. Until next time, dear reader - wherever our travels take us. May your paths be bright and your days be long. As for us? Well, I guess we'll just have to keep rolling the dice and hoping for the best. After all, that's what love is all about, isn't it? Taking risks and trusting in the power of persistence, no matter how tough things may get. Until next time!
P. S. If you're interested in taking advantage of Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center's special offer (10% off with code XYZ), now is the time to act! Just be sure to book quickly, as this promotion won't last forever. Trust us: there's no telling what kind of tech woes might strike next.
Dear Willow,
As someone who has stayed at Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center on multiple occasions, I must admit that your review has left me a bit puzzled. While it's true that the cleanliness of the rooms could use some improvement, I have to say that I've always been impressed with the level of service provided by the hotel staff. In fact, during my last stay, I encountered a similar issue with the TV in my room. But just like you, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and efficiency with which the hotel responded to my request for assistance. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was as enjoyable as possible, despite the technical difficulties. That being said, I do understand your frustration with the cleanliness of the rooms. It's a shame that such a highly rated hotel seems to be neglecting this aspect of guest satisfaction. However, I would like to suggest that you bring this issue to the attention of the hotel management. By doing so, you may help them to identify the root cause of the problem and take corrective action. In the meantime, I would encourage you to focus on the positives of your experience at Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center. After all, as you mentioned earlier, it's the service that really matters. And based on my own interactions with the hotel staff, I have no doubt that they will continue to provide top-notch service to their guests, regardless of any shortcomings in cleanliness. As for the news about Brick by Brick Investments, I would recommend that you do your own research and make an informed decision based on the facts. While a dividend yield of 6% is certainly attractive, it's important to consider other factors as well, such as the company's financial health, market trends, and potential risks. In any case, I hope that this response has provided you with some food for thought.
Dear Zoe,
Thank you for sharing your perspective on Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center. While it's true that the level of service provided by the hotel staff is exceptional, I strongly believe that cleanliness is a fundamental aspect of any accommodations, and it should not be overlooked or excused. The fact that such a highly rated hotel seems to be neglecting this crucial aspect of guest satisfaction is concerning, and I find it hard to believe that the issue is isolated to my particular room during my last stay. It's possible that Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center is facing some operational challenges that are preventing them from maintaining a clean environment for their guests. However, as a responsible business, they should be transparent about these issues and take immediate corrective action instead of brushing them aside. It's also worth mentioning that cleanliness can have a significant impact on guest satisfaction, which in turn affects the hotel's overall reputation and revenue. Therefore, it's essential for Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center to prioritize this aspect of guest experience and invest in the necessary resources and training to ensure consistent cleanliness across all rooms. As for Brick by Brick Investments, while a dividend yield of 6% is attractive, I would caution against making an impulsive investment decision based solely on the dividend yield. It's crucial to conduct thorough research on the company's financial health, market trends, and potential risks before investing your money. A high dividend yield can sometimes be a red flag, signaling that the company may be facing financial difficulties or over-reliant on dividends as a way to attract investors. Therefore, it's essential to approach any investment opportunity with a critical and informed mindset, and always prioritize long-term financial goals over short-term gains. Thank you for sharing your insights with me, Zoe. Your perspective has provided me with some valuable insights into the issues facing Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center and Brick by Brick Investments. I will continue to monitor these situations and make informed decisions based on the available evidence.
the Brick by Brick Investments stock was just a distraction - a red herring designed to keep us focused on something other than the true horror that lurked within those dirty walls. No, I wouldn't be staying here anytime soon. In fact, I'd avoid this place like the plague. For in the Clarion Hotel Downtown Oakland City Center, I saw a glimpse of something far more sinister - a world where cleanliness was just a facade, and the true horrors lay hidden beneath the surface.

I stumbled upon a hidden gem - Old Oakland Hotel. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this charming establishment is a must-visit for anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable stay. Located just a stone's throw away from the lively Oakland Farmers Market and the iconic Lake Merritt, Old Oakland Hotel promises to be the perfect base for your urban adventures. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its commitment to providing guests with an exceptional experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The decor is both stylish and eclectic, blending modern amenities with vintage touches that pay homage to Oakland's rich history. One of the things that people love most about Old Oakland Hotel is its prime location. Whether you're here for business or pleasure, you'll appreciate being within easy reach of some of the city's top attractions. From world-class museums and art galleries to bustling shopping districts and trendy restaurants, there's no shortage of things to see and do in this vibrant part of town. Of course, comfort and convenience are also key factors when it comes to choosing a hotel - and Old Oakland Hotel delivers on both fronts. Each room is spacious and well-appointed, featuring plush bedding, high-speed internet access, and all the other amenities you'd expect from a top-notch establishment. And with 24-hour front desk service and on-site dining options, you can rest easy knowing that everything you need is right at your fingertips. But what really sets Old Oakland Hotel apart is its commitment to sustainability. As a responsible traveler, I appreciate the fact that this hotel has taken significant steps to minimize its environmental impact. From using eco-friendly cleaning products and recycling materials to implementing energy-efficient technologies and reducing water waste, Old Oakland Hotel is doing its part to make a positive difference in the world. In light of today's news, it's also worth mentioning that Old Oakland Hotel is taking proactive measures to address the impact of sanctions on Russian metals. As a result of US-UK restrictions on the delivery of aluminum, copper, and nickel to exchanges like the London Metal Exchange (LME), prices have risen sharply in recent weeks. Major miners around the world are being affected by these developments, but the global market is continuing to expand thanks to widening discounts for buyers outside of the US and UK. Despite this uncertainty, Old Oakland Hotel remains committed to providing its guests with a safe and secure environment that allows them to focus on their travels without undue worry or concern. All in all, I can't recommend Old Oakland Hotel highly enough. Whether you're here for business, pleasure, or both, this hotel has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. With its prime location, exceptional amenities, and unwavering commitment to sustainability, it's no wonder that people continue to fall in love with Old Oakland Hotel time and time again.
Dear Audrey,
While I agree that Old Oakland Hotel is a hidden gem, your review seems a bit too glowing. Don't get me wrong; the hotel's prime location, stylish decor, and commitment to sustainability are certainly impressive. However, there are some areas where your opinion might be a little overly enthusiastic. Firstly, let's talk about the hotel's proximity to Oakland Farmers Market and Lake Merritt. While these attractions undoubtedly make Old Oakland Hotel an attractive choice for visitors, I can't help but wonder if you're exaggerating just a little. Yes, it's true that the market and lake are both within walking distance of the hotel, but so are many other things - including some less desirable locations. Are you really convinced that Old Oakland Hotel is the absolute best option for anyone seeking to be close to these landmarks?
Secondly, let's address your claims about the hotel's amenities. While it's true that each room is spacious and well-appointed, I have some doubts about whether they really live up to your hype. For one thing, how do you know that the bedding is "plush"? Have you actually slept on these pillows and sheets, or are you just parroting what the hotel's website tells you? And while I appreciate your mention of high-speed internet access, I have a hard time believing that it truly sets Old Oakland Hotel apart from other hotels in the area. After all, isn't this something that every decent establishment should provide as standard these days?
Finally, let's talk about your praise for the hotel's sustainability initiatives. While I certainly applaud the hotel for taking steps to minimize its environmental impact, I wonder if you're being a little too optimistic here. After all, we know that the US and UK restrictions on Russian metals are causing major headaches for miners around the world - how can Old Oakland Hotel really be sure that it's doing everything it can to address these developments? Are you confident that your hotel isn't unwittingly contributing to global market uncertainty by relying too heavily on these materials in its construction or operations?
In short, while I appreciate your enthusiasm for Old Oakland Hotel, I would urge you to be a little more measured and objective in your review. Yes, the hotel has some impressive features - but are they really worth all the hyperbole you've heaped upon them? Let's keep things grounded and focus on presenting a balanced and accurate view of what Old Oakland Hotel has to offer.
Dear Leonardo,
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review of Old Oakland Hotel. While I appreciate your insights and concerns, I would like to clarify some points and defend my position. Firstly, while it's true that there are other attractions in the vicinity besides the farmers market and lake, I believe that Old Oakland Hotel still stands out as an excellent choice for anyone looking to be close to these landmarks. For one thing, the hotel is situated in a vibrant neighborhood filled with restaurants, shops, and galleries - many of which are within walking distance. This makes it an ideal base for exploring Oakland's rich cultural scene, whether you're interested in art, music, or food. And while other hotels may be similarly located, I feel that Old Oakland Hotel offers a unique blend of style, comfort, and sustainability that sets it apart from the competition. Secondly, regarding your skepticism about the bedding being "plush", I can assure you that I have personally slept in one of the hotel's rooms and found the bedding to be exceedingly comfortable. Of course, everyone's preferences are different, but I believe that Old Oakland Hotel goes above and beyond to ensure that its guests have a luxurious and rejuvenating sleep experience. And while high-speed internet access may seem like a basic requirement these days, I still appreciate the fact that Old Oakland Hotel takes this amenity seriously - in an age when connectivity is increasingly vital, it's reassuring to know that you won't have to struggle with slow or unreliable WiFi. Finally, while I agree that global market uncertainty and the restrictions on Russian metals are certainly major challenges facing the mining industry today, I believe that Old Oakland Hotel is doing everything it can to minimize its environmental impact despite these developments. The hotel's commitment to sustainability goes beyond mere lip service - from its use of renewable energy sources to its recycling programs and eco-friendly amenities, Old Oakland Hotel is truly a leader in the field of sustainable hospitality. And while we may not have all the answers yet, I trust that the hotel's management team will continue to monitor the situation closely and make informed decisions based on the latest information available. In short, while I appreciate your concerns and points of view, I believe that my review was fair, balanced, and accurate - and that it accurately reflects my personal experience of staying at Old Oakland Hotel. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I stand by my assessment that this is an exceptional establishment deserving of praise and recognition.

I'll never forget the evening I stepped into the Jack London Inn in Oakland, California. It was a chilly winter night, and the misty fog rolled in like a ghostly veil, shrouding the city in an air of mystery. My companion, a successful entrepreneur with a penchant for the finer things in life, had chosen this hotel as our base of operations during a high-stakes business trip. As we pulled up to the entrance, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. After all, this was no ordinary inn; its rich history and prime location promised an unforgettable experience. But little did we know that our stay would be marred by an enigma – one that would leave us questioning the very fabric of modern hospitality. As we approached the front desk, I noticed a peculiar sense of unease in the air. The lobby was bustling with activity, but the staff seemed. Like they were operating under some sort of unspoken protocol. We joined the queue, only to find ourselves stuck in limbo as minutes ticked by like hours. My companion's patience began to wear thin, and I could sense his frustration simmering just below the surface. The front desk staff, seemingly overwhelmed, moved with all the urgency of a sloth. I recall one poor soul, struggling to keep up with the demanding pace, muttering under her breath as she fumbled with the computer. What's going on here?" my companion asked, his voice laced with incredulity. I shot him a warning glance. Let's not make a scene," I whispered back. But the truth was, we were stuck in some sort of temporal loop. Every minute felt like an eternity as we waited for our turn to check in or out. It was as if time itself had slowed down, mocking us with its relentless pace. And yet, amidst this chaos, I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more at play here than met the eye. Were these long lines a result of sheer incompetence, or something more sinister? Was it a deliberate attempt to slow us down, perhaps?
As we finally managed to extricate ourselves from the front desk's clutches, I caught sight of a news ticker streaming across the lobby's TV screen. It read: "Crypto Job Market on Fire: 500+ Applicants Battle for Top Roles as VC Funding and Institutional Demand Surge. A shiver ran down my spine as I connected the dots. Was it merely a coincidence that our check-in debacle occurred at the same time as this frenzied crypto job market? Or was there something more at play – perhaps an invisible network of high-stakes players, operating in the shadows?
My companion and I exchanged a knowing glance. We both knew that we had stumbled into something much larger than ourselves. As we retreated to our room, exhausted and disillusioned with the Jack London Inn's service, I couldn't help but wonder: what other secrets lay hidden beneath the surface of this enigmatic hotel? And what would it take for us to unravel the mystery behind those maddeningly long lines?
In conclusion, my experience at the Jack London Inn was a jarring reminder that sometimes, even in the most unexpected places, the truth can be as elusive as a ghost. While I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a hassle-free stay, I would caution against dismissing its peculiarities too quickly. For in the world of high finance and cryptomarkets, nothing is ever quite as it seems. And sometimes, it takes a little mystery and intrigue to uncover the truth. Rating:** 2/5 stars
**Recommendation:** If you value your sanity and don't mind waiting for what feels like an eternity at the front desk, then by all means, give the Jack London Inn a try. But if you're looking for a seamless experience with no hidden surprises, look elsewhere. Will I return?** Only if I'm equipped with a healthy dose of paranoia and a keen eye for mystery.

I have stayed in my fair share of hotels over the years. However, my recent experience at Americas Best Value Inn - Oakland / Lake Merritt left me pleasantly surprised. Located on 122 E 12th St, Oakland, CA 94606, United States, this hotel offers a comfortable and affordable stay for travelers passing through the area. Arriving at the hotel was an adventure in itself. My friend and I had gotten lost trying to find our way to the property, but luckily we stumbled upon a group of locals who were more than happy to guide us in the right direction. As we approached the hotel, we couldn't help but notice the vibrant murals adorning the walls, adding a touch of artistry and personality to the otherwise plain exterior. Check-in was quick and efficient, with the friendly staff providing us with all the necessary information about the hotel amenities and surrounding area. Our room was cozy and clean, equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. However, our first night there was anything but peaceful. It started out innocently enough - my friend and I were just having a friendly argument over which restaurant to try for dinner. But things quickly escalated into a full-blown shouting match, complete with finger pointing and raised voices. It's safe to say that we both regretted our decision to share a room. Luckily, the hotel's security team was quick to intervene, responding promptly to our neighbors' complaints about the noise level. They politely reminded us that other guests were trying to sleep and urged us to keep it down. We apologized profusely and promised to tone it down for the rest of our stay. Despite the initial mishap, I have to say that Americas Best Value Inn - Oakland / Lake Merritt exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, and the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the surrounding area. It's safe to say that I will be recommending this hotel to all my fellow travelers in search of a budget-friendly stay. In light of recent news regarding Russia's increasing crackdown on dissenting voices, it's clear that "they" are tightening the screws. With critics both at home and abroad being targeted by the Kremlin, it's more important than ever to stand up for freedom of speech and expression. As travelers, we have a unique opportunity to support these values by choosing to stay in hotels and businesses that prioritize human rights and social justice. It's a small but meaningful way to make a difference in the world. So next time you're booking a hotel room, consider supporting a business that shares your values and beliefs. After all, our actions have consequences - let's make them count for something positive.

I have stayed in my fair share of hotels across the country. However, my experience at Extended Stay America - Oakland - Alameda left me feeling less than impressed. My boyfriend and I checked into this establishment what seemed like an eternity ago (in reality, it was only two years back), with high hopes for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area. But alas, our hopes were dashed almost as soon as we set foot inside our room. The heating and hot water systems were a disaster - inconsistent temperature control plagued us at every turn, leaving us shivering in the cold and scorching ourselves with sudden bursts of heat. And don't even get me started on the showers. Cold water was the norm, despite our best efforts to coax some warmth out of the faucet. It was as if we were being punished for our sins or something. Now, as I sit here writing this review (from the comfort of a much more luxurious hotel, I might add), I can't help but smirk at the irony of it all. It seems that politicians are using data to plan their campaigns these days - and hopefully win their seats. But what about the little guys? The ones who just want a decent place to stay for the night, without having to worry about freezing showers or scorching hot rooms? Are we just supposed to accept this subpar service as the norm?
I say no. We deserve better than that - and Extended Stay America needs to step up its game if it wants to remain relevant in a market that's becoming increasingly competitive by the day. As for me, I'll be sticking to more reliable establishments from here on out. After all, who has time for frozen showers and inconsistent heating when there's a world to win?
Oh wait, I forgot - this is "the world's biggest data mine" we're talking about here. Guess I better start collecting some stats on hotel comfort levels and see if I can't turn this into a lucrative business venture. Because who knows - maybe one day, I too will be fighting for votes in this crazy data-driven world. But until then, I'll stick to my principles and demand the best from the establishments I choose to patronize. In short, Extended Stay America - Oakland - Alameda may have had its chance. And frankly, it blew it. Time to move on and find a better place to lay our weary heads. Because as the old saying goes, "you can't put a price on a good night's sleep. Or at least, that's what my boyfriend tells me every time I wake up in a cold sweat, muttering about inconsistent heating and frozen showers.

Dear Marina Village Inn,
I recently had the pleasure of staying at your beautiful hotel located in Alameda, CA. The moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view of the marina. The spacious room was well-appointed and had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay.
However, during my visit in February, I experienced some heating and hot water issues that left me feeling a bit disappointed. Despite calling maintenance multiple times, the inconsistent temperature control resulted in cold showers which was frustrating. The staff were very apologetic and tried their best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible but it took longer than expected.
Despite these minor inconveniences, I must commend the excellent service provided by your staff throughout my stay. They were always willing to assist me with any questions or concerns I had and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The breakfast selection was also impressive, offering a variety of fresh options to start the day off right.
In conclusion, Marina Village Inn has great potential but could use some improvements in terms of heating and hot water consistency. Nevertheless, I would still recommend this hotel to others due to its convenient location, beautiful views, and exceptional customer service. I hope my feedback helps you address these issues so that future guests can have an even more enjoyable stay at your lovely property.

my sister and I embarked on a much-needed getaway at the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel. We were thrilled to finally unwind and immerse ourselves in the scenic beauty of Sydney's coastline. However, our enthusiasm was short-lived as we soon realized that the hotel's low adoption rate of hotel apps left us disappointed. Initially, we expected the hotel to have advanced features such as mobile check-in and room service at our fingertips. Unfortunately, our hopes were shattered as we learned that these services were not available. It was a major letdown since we had grown accustomed to such conveniences during our previous stays at other hotels. We couldn't help but wonder why the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel lagged behind in this regard. Was it because they prioritized other aspects of their services over technology? Or was it a case of insufficient resources? We couldn't help but feel that we were missing out on a lot by not being able to utilize these features. Our disappointment, however, paled in comparison to the recent developments in Australia regarding social media giants. The news of Elon Musk and American social media companies facing allegations of failing to promptly take down graphic content and misinformation during violent attacks in Sydney left us stunned. It's disheartening to witness such a lackadaisical approach towards ensuring the safety and well-being of people during critical times. As travelers, we have come across our fair share of safety concerns while traveling abroad. It is reassuring to know that measures are being taken by governments around the world to address these issues. We hope that such actions will help create a safer environment for everyone, especially during uncertain times like these. In conclusion, our stay at the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel was pleasant overall, but we couldn't shake off our disappointment with their low hotel app adoption rate. Nonetheless, we acknowledge that the hotel staff were welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, which made up for some of the shortcomings. We would like to suggest that the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel considers investing in advanced features such as mobile check-in and room service to enhance their guests' overall experience. This would not only make their services more convenient but also put them on par with other leading hotels in the area. As for our own safety, we take it seriously while traveling and always ensure that we are well-informed about any potential risks or concerns beforehand. We hope that governments around the world continue to prioritize the safety and security of their citizens, especially during these trying times. Overall, our stay at the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel was enjoyable, but we couldn't help but feel that some aspects could have been better.

Hey! I'm a resident of Richmond and love finding new places nearby. Many from Richmond go to Imperial Inn at 490 W MacArtuhur Blvd, Oakland, CA 94609 because it's close to popular attractions. Point Pinole Regional Shoreline offers beautiful views of the Bay with hiking trails and picnic areas. Continue on MacArthur Blvd for around 20 minutes without traffic to arrive at Imperial Inn. The motel is clean, well-maintained, and has friendly staff. It's conveniently located near airports and freeways like I880 and I580. Rooms are comfortable with free Wi-Fi and cable TV, plus cozy beds. Recommend for travelers visiting Richmond due to its location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and accessibility to local amenities!
Dear Oscar Hogan,
Your review of Imperial Inn has left me completely bewildered. How could you possibly have such a positive opinion about this godforsaken establishment? Let me tell you, as someone who has stayed at countless motels in the area, I can assure you that Imperial Inn is nothing short of a nightmare. First off, the location might be convenient for some, but it's hardly ideal. It's situated right next to a busy highway, making it practically impossible to get any sort of decent sleep. The constant noise and fumes from the traffic will leave you feeling frazzled and disoriented. And don't even get me started on the smell that seems to permeate the air around here - it's enough to make your eyes water!
As for cleanliness, well. I wouldn't exactly call this place spotless. The carpets are stained, the bathroom fixtures are rusty, and there seems to be a perpetual haze of grime hovering over every surface. It's like they forgot to dust in here for centuries! And don't even think about the bedding - I swear, I half-expected to find cockroaches crawling out from under the sheets when I pulled them back last night. The staff is another story altogether. They seem perpetually harried and impatient, as if they can't wait for you to check out so they can get back to their own lives. The service is lackluster at best, and it's clear that these people would rather be anywhere else than dealing with the motley crew of misfits that stay here. And let's not forget about the pricing - holy cow, this place is a ripoff! I paid an exorbitant amount for a room that could easily be mistaken for a prison cell. The Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable, and the cable TV only seems to have three channels worth watching. Talk about getting ripped off!
In short, Oscar Hogan, I'm afraid you've been utterly blinded by the placebo effect of proximity. Just because it's close to some popular attractions doesn't mean it's a great place to stay! Trust me, next time you come to Richmond, steer clear of this dump and find yourself a better option.
Dear Stephen,
Your harsh criticism of Imperial Inn has left me completely puzzled. As someone who has traveled extensively throughout the region, I can assure you that your opinion is far from the consensus. In fact, I believe that your review may be tainted by a few key misunderstandings and misconceptions about this beloved establishment. First off, while it's true that Imperial Inn is situated near a busy highway, I would argue that this is actually a major selling point for many guests. The close proximity to the main artery of the city makes it incredibly easy to get around and explore all the best attractions in Richmond. And while the noise level can be a bit high at times, I personally find it invigorating - there's something thrilling about being right in the thick of the action!
As for cleanliness, I have to say that I've never encountered any issues in this regard during my stays at Imperial Inn. Sure, the carpets might not be as pristine as some luxury hotels, but they're certainly functional and well-maintained. And I find the rustic charm of the bathroom fixtures to be endearing, rather than off-putting. As for bedding - I've never encountered any unwelcome surprises in that regard either! In fact, I would say that the cozy, well-worn feel of the sheets is part of what makes this place so charming and inviting. And let's not forget about the staff - while it's true that they can be a bit harried at times, I find their friendliness and eagerness to help to be incredibly endearing. They truly seem to care about providing the best possible experience for their guests, and I always leave feeling appreciated and valued. And as for pricing - while it's true that Imperial Inn isn't exactly a bargain, I would argue that the value proposition is still quite favorable when you consider all the benefits of staying in such a central location. In short, Stephen, I would urge you to reconsider your harsh assessment of Imperial Inn and give this beloved institution another chance. Perhaps you've been unfortunate enough to encounter some particularly unpleasant experiences during your previous stays, but I truly believe that there's something special and enduring about this place that keeps drawing people back year after year.
Dear Stephen,
I have read your review of Imperial Inn with much interest, but I must say that your opinion seems rather extreme and one-sided. As someone who has also stayed at this establishment, I would like to present an alternative perspective. Firstly, while it is true that the location may not be ideal for everyone, I have actually found it quite convenient. The proximity to major highways makes it easy to get around the city, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and shops to keep me occupied. Furthermore, the motel is situated in a relatively safe neighborhood, which has given me peace of mind during my stay. As for cleanliness, I have found that the Imperial Inn meets my expectations quite well. Yes, the carpets may not be spotless, but they are certainly not stained beyond repair. The bathroom fixtures may be rusty, but they are still functional and in good working order. And while there may be a bit of grime in the air, it is hardly enough to make me uncomfortable or ill. The staff at Imperial Inn has also been quite friendly and accommodating during my stay. I have not noticed any lackluster service, and in fact, the staff seems genuinely interested in making sure that their guests are happy. While they may be a bit harried at times, I think it's important to remember that they are doing their best under the circumstances. Finally, while the pricing may seem steep at first glance, I believe that the value for money is actually quite good. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with all of the amenities that one would expect from a modern motel. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and there are plenty of channels to choose from on the cable TV. In short, I am quite satisfied with my stay at Imperial Inn and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and convenient accommodations in Richmond. Of course, everyone has their own preferences and priorities when it comes to travel, so I completely understand if another guest may have a different opinion. But I do believe that my experience here has been largely positive, and I look forward to staying at Imperial Inn again in the future.
Dear Oscar Hogan,
Thank you for your insightful review of Imperial Inn in Oakland, California. As a fellow resident of Richmond, I have heard great things about this establishment and was thrilled to read your positive experience. However, after conducting my own research and staying at the hotel myself, I must respectfully disagree with some of your claims. Firstly, while it is true that Imperial Inn's location near popular attractions like Point Pinole Regional Shoreline is convenient, I would argue that there are several other nearby hotels that offer better amenities and services. For example, the Courtyard by Marriott Richmond/East Bay is located just a few miles away and boasts an indoor pool, fitness center, and on-site restaurant. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the Richmond BART station makes it easily accessible by public transportation. Secondly, while Imperial Inn may be clean and well-maintained, I found the rooms to be small and outdated compared to other hotels in the area. The beds were comfortable, but the decor was dated and lacked modern amenities like USB charging ports or smart TVs. Furthermore, some of the common areas seemed a bit worn and could use some updating. Finally, while the staff at Imperial Inn were friendly enough, I found their level of service to be lacking in comparison to other nearby hotels. The front desk was understaffed during peak hours, resulting in long wait times for check-in and check-out. Additionally, there were some communication issues between guests and housekeeping, which led to delayed room services and unfulfilled requests. Overall, while I appreciate the convenience of Imperial Inn's location near Point Pinole Regional Shoreline, I believe that other nearby hotels offer better value for money and a more enjoyable guest experience. Based on my own experiences, I would recommend alternatives like the Courtyard by Marriott Richmond/East Bay or the Hilton Garden Inn Richmond-East Bay/BART to anyone looking for a comfortable and modern stay in the area.

As the general manager of Rodeway Inn, I remember when I first joined this charming establishment many years ago. The inn boasted an intimate ambience and an unpretentious charm that was truly captivating. Every nook and corner exuded a warmth and a sense of belonging, as if it were inviting you to stay a little longer than planned. However, there was one issue that I encountered during my time here: the slow room turnovers. The delay between guests occupying rooms often caused disruptions and inconveniences for our patrons. This was especially heartbreaking, given how much love we poured into making their stays as comfortable and memorable as possible. It was like witnessing a beautiful love story that never reached its climax – the potential to create unforgettable memories seemed to slip through our fingers due to this minor oversight. I remember the days when the hallway echoed with the footsteps of guests rushing to catch their flights or attend important meetings, only to find themselves in the middle of room turnovers. It was a heartbreaking sight to see their faces clouded over with disappointment and frustration. We knew we had to make changes. And so, we began working diligently to improve our processes and systems – from allocating more efficient cleaning schedules to streamlining communication between departments. We wanted to ensure that every guest would feel the warmth of our hospitality right from their first step into Rodeway Inn, all the way until they leave with hearts full and suitcases packed for their next adventure. Now, when you walk through the corridors of Rodeway Inn, you can feel the difference. There’s a palpable sense of harmony – the room turnovers are smoother, the staff is more efficient, and the guests are happier than ever before. It feels as though we’ve finally managed to turn our beautiful love story into one that resonates with joy and satisfaction. And so, dear reader, if you ever find yourself at Rodeway Inn, know that every detail has been thoughtfully crafted to make your stay as romantic and delightful as possible. From the soft pillows on the bed to the delicious breakfast served each morning, we’ve ensured that every experience at our inn will leave an indelible mark in your heart – a mark of warmth, love, and connection.
Dear Editor,
I am writing to express my profound appreciation for Rodeway Inn and its exceptional service. As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in numerous establishments across the country, but none has quite captured my heart like Rodeway Inn. When I first arrived at this charming establishment many months ago, I was immediately struck by its intimate ambience and unpretentious charm. Every nook and corner exuded warmth and a sense of belonging, making me feel right at home. However, what truly sets Rodeway Inn apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. I am writing to commend the efforts made by the general manager, Vera Alvarado, in addressing the issue of slow room turnovers. As she mentioned in her review, this delay often caused disruptions and inconveniences for guests. However, the hotel management team took swift action to improve their processes and systems, resulting in smoother room turnovers and happier guests. I have personally witnessed the positive impact of these changes during my recent stay at Rodeway Inn. The staff was efficient and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived to the time I checked out, every detail was thoughtfully crafted to make my experience as romantic and delightful as possible. I would like to thank Vera Alvarado and her team for their dedication to improving Rodeway Inn's service. Their hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed. I hope that other hotels in the industry will take inspiration from their efforts and strive to provide similarly exceptional service to their guests. In conclusion, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Rodeway Inn for providing me with a truly memorable experience during my recent stay.
