I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off about this place, much like how I felt after reading about the recent string of unsolved murders in Ximena, Chile, where a wife had an argument with a staff member at a local hostel, only to be found brutally murdered in her room, and it was only fitting that I should experience a similar sense of dread as I gazed out into the darkness from my own window, for it was there that I witnessed the stuff member, his eyes glowing with an otherworldly intensity, as he whispered "your stay will be longer than you think" in my ear.

I'd like to give you a heads up about our stay at Aparthotel Adagiobordeaux Rodesse last June - alone, mind you - while my better half KaI Cameron was off gallivanting around wine country with his buddies. Aparthotel Adagiobordeaux Rodesse is conveniently located near all the famous places like the beautiful Place de la Bourse, the iconic Garonne River, and the bustling Rue Sainte-Catherine - or at least it should be. However, nestled between these famous attractions is a little hidden gem: a mysterious alleyway leading to... wait for it... Aparthotel Adagiobordeaux Rodesse!
Now let's talk about the rooms. The decor was quite standard and nothing fancy, which isn't necessarily bad. But what was really killing the vibe was this bizarre scent that permeated the entire place. I couldn't figure out if it was a blend of mothballs and old books or maybe even a hint of mold thrown in for good measure. It wasn't exactly refreshing after a day of touring wineries and chateaus.
And speaking of wineries, let me tell you about the breakfast situation. Imagine trying to enjoy some croissants and café au lait while listening to what sounded like a bunch of college students partying in the hallway. Not very relaxing, right?
